John Lim / Founder & CEO
John is the Founder and CEO of Manor Group, a hospitality investment and management company established in 2011. He holds a Master's degree in Composite Materials from Imperial College London and began his career as a Biotechnology Researcher with Singapore's Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR).
John has guided Manor Group's evolution through strategic diversification, operational excellence, and disciplined long-term investment, with a focus on creating sustainable value through hospitality. In 2024, he co-founded Hacienda Hospitality Management in partnership with Agility, the real estate arm of PhillipCapital Group.
John also serves as the Asia-Pacific Ambassador for Small Luxury Hotels of the World (SLH), becoming the first Singaporean to hold this role. He represents more than 150 hotels across 13 countries in the Asia-Pacific region.
Beyond business, John is actively involved in community service and industry development. He has served in leadership and volunteer roles with various organisations, including the North East Community Development Council, the National Arthritis Foundation, the Business Leaders Alumni Club (BLAC), the Singapore Island Country Club, and the NUSS–NUS Mentorship Programme.
Jasmine Tan / Co-founder & Executive Director
Jasmine is the Executive Director of Manor Group. Before co-founding the company in 2011, she had many years of research and working experience in the areas of Civil and Environmental Engineering at various statutory boards.
She holds a Master of Science in Environmental Engineering from Imperial College of Science, Technology and Medicine (UK) and a Bachelor of Engineering (2nd Upper Honours) in Civil Engineering from the University of Nottingham (UK). To date, she completed the Master Certificate in Hospitality Management: Focus on Revenue Management and Certificate in Hotel Real Estate Investments and Asset Management from Cornell University.
Jasmine’s primary roles are to oversee building projects which Manor Group undertakes to increase its portfolio and ensuring that the assets owned are being well managed.
Gan Wan Pin / Director
Wan Pin holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the National University of Singapore and a Master's degree in Industrial Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
With more than 20 years of leadership experience across the Asia-Pacific region, Wan Pin has built a distinguished career in supply chain management, commercial strategy, and business transformation. He has held senior management and board positions with leading global organisations, including Glencore, Access World, and A.P. Moller Maersk Group, where he led strategic initiatives spanning change management, mergers and acquisitions, and operational excellence.
In 2024, Wan Pin co-founded Hacienda Hospitality Management in partnership with Agility, the real estate arm of PhillipCapital Group, to establish a hospitality investment platform focused on creating long-term value through disciplined investment, active asset management, and operational excellence.
Chaw Chih Wen / Creative Director
Chih Wen graduated from the National University of Singapore with a Bachelor of Arts (Architecture) and a Master of Architecture.
He is a registered architect in Singapore, the founding director of Hyphen Architects, and the principal designer of AMANOR Hotel, Chiang Mai.
Chih Wen has been recognised in both regional and global awards, such as the Singapore Institute of Architects Award (Residential), BCI Asia Award (Hospitality), Inside Awards (Residential) and AHEAD Asia (Hospitality). Some of his work has been showcased in notable design platforms like Tokyo Designer’s Week and was a part of the Singapore Pavilion at the 2021 Venice Biennale of Architecture.
Helen Kok / VP, Hospitality Investments & Operations
Helen graduated from Campbell University with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Information Systems. She is a Certified Business Analytics Specialist and holds a Professional Certificate in Accounting and Finance.
Helen has over 15 years of professional experience in hospitality management, encompassing a broad spectrum of the industry. She is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) with a strong foundation in data and business analytics. She has a proven track record of managing and executing complex projects within the hospitality sector.
Helen’s primary roles are to develop, execute and support the group’s strategic initiatives.
Independent Adviser
BG (Ret) Lim Yeow Beng / Independent Adviser
Mr Lim is an Independent Adviser and Director to both listed and non-listed companies. He has over 30 years of experience in the logistics, engineering, technology, hospitality, and healthcare industries. He served in various leadership roles within the ST Logistics Group of Companies, the Singapore Mainboard Listed Sembcorp Logistics as well as various directorships of more than 25 commercial companies spanning North America, Europe, the Middle East, South Asia, the PRC, and other Asia-Pacific countries.
Prior to entering the private sector, Mr Lim held various command and staff appointments during his career with the Singapore Armed Forces. His pinnacle military appointment was as the Head of Air Engineering and Logistics,
Mr Lim is a graduate of the National University of Singapore and holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering and a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering. He has also completed the Executive Development Program at IMD, Switzerland.
He received the Senior Directorship Accreditation Award from the Singapore Institute of Directors on 16 January 2024.

Maxime Debels / Vice President of Development, Unicorn Hospitality
Maxime leads the company’s strategic growth across Thailand and Southeast Asia. With over 11 years of experience in hotel development across various management companies, he specializes in identifying new opportunities, spearheading project negotiations, and securing management deals.
He also oversees the group’s consulting services, providing tailored advisory solutions to hotel owners and investors. Renowned for his deep market insight and collaborative mindset, Maxime is dedicated to building strong relationships and delivering impactful, sustainable results.
